WHY THIS SESSION EXISTS
Every company we walk into has already bought the tools. The dashboards exist. Somebody built them. Nobody quite trusts them.
Ask five people what revenue means and you get five answers. All five of them are making decisions right now.
So the team does the reasonable thing and adds another tool. Now there are six answers.
The fix was never another platform. It is five decisions, made once, in the right order. Most companies make them by accident, one at a time, over about three years.
We make them on purpose, every week, for other people. We are going to walk you through all five, and you can steal every one of them.

The five things you must get right
In this order. The order is most of the value, because each one makes the next one cheaper.

Extraction, ETL, and every connector in between. Where your data actually comes from, how often it moves, and what breaks without telling anyone.
We will show you how to find the two sources that quietly disagree, and how to work out which one is right.

Where all of it lands, whose cloud bill it shows up on, and who still owns it if you and your vendor part ways.
The question nobody asks until it is too late to ask it. We will show you what to put in writing.

Semantic Layer and Context
The definitions. What revenue means here, what counts as a lead, what active actually means. Written down once, where the machines can read it.
Every query consults the definitions before it touches the data. That one rule is the entire governance story.

Data Collection Method
What you are genuinely capturing, as opposed to what you believe you are capturing. These are rarely the same document.
We will run the check we run on day one of every build. It takes about four minutes and it is usually uncomfortable.

Team Enablement Done Right
Self serve, but inside governance. Handing everyone a query box does not fix the questions your team asks. It scales them.
Self serve analytics has been chased for a decade and shut down almost every time. We will be specific about why, and about what has to be true first.

Is this a pitch?
There are a few minutes of one, somewhere in the middle, and we will tell you when it starts so you can go get a coffee.
The other forty are the five decisions and your questions. Turning up for the walkthrough and nothing else is a completely fine way to use this.
Do I need to be technical?
No. This is built for the person who has to defend the number in a leadership meeting, not the person who writes the query.
We will name the technical parts and then tell you what each one means for your week.
What if I cannot make it live?
Register anyway and we will send you the recording. The live one is better, because you can ask about your own stack and get an answer on the call instead of a follow up email.
